This weird and rather wonderful Buddha’s Hand citron suddenly showed itself a few weeks ago – the first fruit on a little tree we were given a few years back. It is apparently treasured in Asia as a temple offering, and for its intense perfume.

 

The Buddha’s Hand is considered very lucky – which is great because the resemblance to Jen’s still-damaged right hand is uncanny! She’s just been down to Sydney for neurosurgery a couple of weeks ago, so fingers crossed (!) that all goes well moving forward.

 

She needs those hands to lovingly milk our gorgeous girls!

 

Update: Jen’s hand is remarkably well 🙂 It’s a long recovery, but we’re hopeful.
