The stone circle is a ring of twelve huge stones aligned to the compass points and deeply embedded in the ground.

They were brought from nearby Glenreagh and placed here to provide an anchor, an orientation to place.  The stones can be glimpsed from the Hall, through a grevillea garden that offers a haven for native birds.

The stone circle features two-tier stone terracing on its southern edge for use in outdoor events.
